Hello my name is Shawna. I am currently dating a guy in Indonesia and will be visiting there next summer. I have concerns with obtaining my visa. They do a criminal background check. I have a couple of misdemeaors on my record and the charges are nothing serious. I just want to meet my boyfriend and spend time with him. Does anyone know the stipulations on visa denial and what they are looking for? If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated, terima kasih!

That really problem when it comes to criminal record the consequences is always on our back.
The best that you can do you should file an expungement of record or sealed if that applicable cause law differ from it state.It is better that you are cleared before taking a visit cause if their is an opportunity of being hired for a job.
