Hi -

My name is Melissa, and I and my husband live outside of Houston. We are currently considering a relocation to Dubai. My husband lived in KSA for many years, and I commuted to KSA from NY. We now live oustiside of Houston on a ranch.

There will be much to do here if my husband takes the job, as he would leave almost immediately. Well, I have gotten used to that. What is different now is that we have a small ranch with livestock and horses. Before, I had an apt. in NY with one dog and one cat.

I have many questions - my biggest concern is my 5 dogs and one cat. Best airline to use? Should I use a professional importer/exporter? Can the animals be flown back and forth? Must be cost prohibitive??!! What happens when I arrive at the airport? Where are the animals? Can the two little ones (4.5lbs and 12 lbs) stay with me?

My second biggest concern is housing. While all of these animals are house trained, crate trained, and actually live in our home, are there places that will allow that many pets?

So, I am looking for folks who have had experience with these two subjects to offer their input please.
