Smile Hi, looking to come to france for a while!!

Hi all,

I'm looking at coming out to france in the next 6-7 weeks. I had been in a very long relationship which has ended, and have decided to take a career break for a year at least, and have decided to visit france for a while to see how i like it.

I am looking for somewhere to rent for a while, but don't want anywhere very expensive, too big or too remote. I don't mind a barn, gite or even a room, but don't want to enter into contracts as i don't know how long i will visit, it will depend on how i get on, how much i miss my family and friends etc. I'm 32, fairly quiet, neat and tidy. Really just want a bit of peace and relaxation to unwind for a while.

It would most proberly benefit me being where there are a few expats, but other than that as long as it is a nice location i really would consider any area.

Look forward to replies and suggestions

Many Thanks

Karen

Hi Karen and welcome to the forum.

You will get a lot more response if you post on the French country forum, which you can locate by scrolling down on the main home page.

Where are you now?

Regards

Michelle
