Can anyone tell us if the airport shuts down ut of season?
how do you go about flying between rhodes and gatwick out of summer season?

You will still get there but boy oh boy will the prices shoot up as you may even have to do some hopping between airports ..

do you live in rhodes?

It really helps when you say, preferably in the title, which of the many, many airports in the world you are talking about. Leaving it to the end is a bit confusing, and the title isn't likely to attract reasonable responses. Something like "Is the Rhodes airport open off season" would have been good. Unless you were worried about Gatwick.

And the issue isn't whether the airport is open but whether there are direct flights. Otherwise one would probably fly through Athens.

Hi, just thought I'd butt in.....as i was a rep there, you can fly to Athens,Thessoloniki or Dalaman(Turkey) then on to Rhodes out of season !
There are limited flights though (2 per week ?) Unless that has changed ?
There are no direct flights out of season.

P.S, you can fly to Dalaman then take a coach to Hisaranou(2hours) and get a ferry !

The ferry goes from Fethiye. Hisonaru is a few miles inland.

Oops ! sorry ! been a while since i was there, I know Fetiye and Hisaranou are close together....just got them mixed up, thats all !
