Cool New To Dubai & Expat Forum

Wanted to say hello to all. My name is Sam, I'm 37 an American and I am in Dubai. Part of a construction team here, as if that is a shock to many. I've been here for a few months now and all is well. Have all of my paperwork in order, but still in need of a few things. Anyone with any advice about Dubai is appreciated, especially surfing even though I know the waves will not be back until October/November, but looks like there might be some this weekend because of the wind.

The name Iron Horse was chosen because it's a fantastic resort in Winter Park, Colorado my home state.

Hi Iron Horse, thanks for giving me some advice today on another thread. I'm not in Dubai, sorry, but I had another question, if you don't mind... I was wondering what kinds of buildings you are working on?? (I'm looking to be involved with design/ development of spa's either for resorts /hotels/ but also large homes... curious..
thanks... all the best to you in your new place!!!

I don't work with vertical buildings, but community developments. A few big projects happening here. Send me a pm if you still think there could be some useful information I might provide.
