Hi folks.

I have been meaning to join this forum for many years now and today I finally got round to doing it. It has been a great source of information in my world wide working travels.

I am South African currently working in the UK on a 5 year working visa and after having been here for almost 4 years my feet have developed an indescribable itch which tells me it is time to move on.

I am looking at finding work in Australia, or New Zealand and anywhere in South East Asia would also be great. I have worked in SE Asia before and loved it. Australia and New Zealand would be new territory.

Getting the work visa appears to be the major stumbling block as I make the points if I can get a company sponsor.

Looking forward to perhaps sharing some of my experiences with other readers and any ideas on a new place to work for a civil engineer would be welcome.

Jumped the gun too quickly - I read your reply to my other post first and now realise you are South African and not British. What part of the UK are you in?

Anyway, welcome to the forum and good luck with your plans.

Michelle

Thanks Michelle

We are currently living in Dartford and I commute daily to wherever I am working.

Thanks. I can only pray that it all works out.
