Hi there I am posting this in the hope that someone will offer me some advice and info.
My family and I are seriously considering moving to Australia, we have been advised that Perth would probably suit our family however it is really difficult to know what area to look into as we have never been to Oz before. I am a Community psychiatric nurse and my husband works as a signal and track technican for the railway, prior to this he worked as a farmer. Ideally we'd like to have jobs lined up before moving out. So I am after any info about jobs, schools etc, basically as much info as possible as I have so many questions going on in my head..

i am in the same boat, we want 'to settle in melbourne as we have family and friends there. have researched areas and everyarea i mention to my cousin he says yes or no (most of them expensive!!) i am a practice nurse working in a surgery with 12,000 patients and looking to remain in the same position. i know that practice nursing is relatively new to OZ so my skills may be helpful. my husband is a barber and has his own business and my uncle has reassured him he will get a job no problem. does anyone know of a nice area with good schools and community ammenities, about an hour from the beach and a good medical centre.
