Hi All,
My name is jeffrey and I am moving to Livadia near Larnaca at the end of January. I am 55 years old and seperated from my wife and seeking some peace and quiet. However, I do have a recruitment business in the uk specialising in Health and Safety for overseas and would like to relocate the business to Cyprus. If I did then I would also recruit locally for the expat and Cypriot market. Is there a market for this and is there anyone who can offer advice and I believe the overheads in Cyprus would be much cheaper. Also, Is Cypriot law different to UK in respect to what my wife (when we are divorced) can get her hands on! I believe that if a "will" is made the property in Cyprus does not automatically belong to her.
So I need advice from all those business owners
and also from divorcees who have experience of Cypriot and UK divorce laws.
