Hello all, i am new to this site after stumbling upon it during a search.

My business is exporting peoples furniture and effects after packing and wrapping it all.

I am happy to stay here and answer any queries i can see as i browse the site.

I still live in England at the moment, although i married an Italian and she wants to move to either Spain or Australia, so we will see!

Greetings all,

My wife and I are professionals/academics who have become so disgusted with the political and social climate in the USA that we are seriously considering retiring to either France or Italy. I have already previewed the French embassy site to determine eligibility requirements for a long term visa. The site states that retirees must provide proof of financial means. Does anyone know exactly how much in savings/pension/social security, etc. the French government requires?
