Hi Terry

Welcome to ExpatForum

We moved to Australia last year with my husbands work - can I ask what made you move to Singapore? Sounds lovely.

Take care

Rach xxxx

Hi Rach, We decided to move to singapore after a long discussion about moving out of the UK.
We just simply weren't happy with where we were living, we always knew we were going to set up a buisness but didn't know what country..
My sister went out for a holiday with her husband in spring of the last year to Singapore and said it was lovely, they also made enquiries about costs of living and buisness opportunites for us, which was very nice of them.
So thats what basically made us move their, after research and discussions we just took that extra step and went for it!
We deffinitly made the right choice so far.

So you moved there without even visiting a few times for yourself. That's brave.

Hi!
I agree that does sound brav of you to move after no visit, but i suppose relatives can be trusted!
After all my family did move to UK from South Africa without a visit, and it all worked out well for everyone!
