I live and work in Turkey, I've been here about two years now and my husband and I have a construction company - no, I'm not going to try and sell you something, we only do one off stuff and I have a forum myself (for Mexico!) and spaming forums is annoying. We build and renovate one off places that interest us and we only do one project a year.

We live in Kirazli which is a traditional Turkish koy just outside Kusadasi about 12km from the Aegean coast. We have a great support network of ex-pat friends who we talk to mainly about food (all ex-pats talk about food all the time) and Turkish friends who help us through the crazy systems that are sent to try us in Turkey.

We go back to the UK pretty regularly to visit family and remind ourselves why living here is nicer.
