Exclamation Nurse and A Project Manager

Has anyone read A Million Miles in a Thousand Years? My husband and I want to change our story, aka relocate to experience something different.

Started researching Panama and heard that it is really tough to find or get work there.

We would consider moving just about anywhere!

1) We both want/need to work.

2) We want to live just outside of town.
-We are farm kids stuck in the city right now.

3) We love the outdoors and fishing.

4) We are on a modest budget.

Open to Suggestions

Thanks
Katie

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Just a couple cautions on your plans - first of all, transferring nursing credentials (or any medical-based profession) can be difficult. You might have some luck with US facilities in Panama, but other than that, you'll need to have the local language (Spanish, I guess) at a pretty good level to manage the qualification transfer.

Project manager is a fairly vague title. But no matter what industry, having the local language would be a major plus for your husband as well.

Check the consulate web site for Panama to see what the situation is regarding work visas. Usually, you have to find the job first and then your employer-to-be sponsors your visa application but the situation varies by country.
Cheers,
Bev
