Question about India

i have been coming to india for the past 20+ years and have been living here on a tourist visa for the past 4 years....6mos. in 2 mos. out........goa is rife with many drugs and trafficking the goan govr. are not partial to foreigners due to the russians scaming property rights ....they paint with a very big brush....going down the coast to kerala at the bottom of goa is a very good bet....for a winter ...take into concideration the monsoon season .....i live on a fixed income of half of what you have and it is easy to do ...just be careful because you will always be looked at as having pockets full of gold
....... visa requirements to get into india have become tight .....a 180 in and 60 day out if you leave before your 180 days the rule of 2 mos out still applies...get your visa from your home country, which i assume is the us ....5 and 10 years multiple entry have been readily available in the past ........the further south you go on the arabian sea coast youll find more christians due to the portuguese influence.... dont get me wrong i love hindus and muslims however the" do on to others" is much more pronounced ......right now the rupee is in an historic slide to the dollar
and youll get more bang for the buck but prices are on the increase because of it .......i hope youll find india as open and spiritual as i have ....the people are readable and if you smile first youll find many who are delighted to return a genuine reflection ....good luck
