Moving to Abu Dhabi..Help!

Dear Friends,

I live in Pune,India and will be moving to Abu Dhabi soon with my wife.
I would like to know which areas of the city are good to live in and what kind of accommodation is available there. I will be looking for a 1BHK apartment, which my employer will be paying for.
Does the apartment comes furnished?if not is it easy to buy the house stuff there?
What kind of supermarkets are there?
I have got many more questions but will pull the slowly...
