Hello!
My wife & I are from beautiful Hawaii - we live in Waikiki. We were just in Malta for 10 days (18-28 Oct) and plan on returning each year from now on for several months at a time. Generally, we find the place very enjoyable with an excellent climate. In late October to February it is a bit cool to almost cold for us from Hawaii. In the spring & fall it is quite lovely. Prices are not too bad. Should someone want to try the place it will not disappoint you. Regards, JonvK

I was there for vacation more than 10 years ago. I was not impressed. Prices were quite high (maybe this is what you should expect on islands) and the general standards left room for improvement. E.g. on average cars and buses seemed to be at least 30 years old and many of them were polluting the air like you would expect from 3rd world countries. And you will hardly find shade on this rocky island as there are no trees.
The good thing is: they do speak English in Malta

Hi..

I moved to Malta 2 months ago.. Not sure if I can help, cause I'm not a EU citizen, so visa stuff and residencies work different for us.. But still I think I can provide you with general info..

Feel free to ask..

Best

Elena

Hi, hope the move has been a success! Did you go into Malta with a business plan? We are researching the move to malta from Spain! Where I have lived for 26 years, however we are British. Did you know anyone In Malta prior to moving there? And why did you choose Malta?
Do u have Skype where we can chat.
Thanks again
