I'm not sure I agree
The main reason for having them on most sites is so that the person receiving that advice can see that the poster has given good advice in the past

I think a professional reputation for work and being an employer means more.

Reputation,reputation and forthright honesty worked for me for many years in my line of work,people do not always appreciate direct,from the shoulder honesty at first,but come back when they realise it is rare and what they were really looking for in the first place. Colin
