Default Where would you move to?

A hypothetical question for you all. If money were no object and you did not need to work, which country would you move to?

For me, I would like to have a home in Italy, but more as a holiday home for several months of the year. I think that I would split the rest of the time between New York and the UK, so I had a mixture of climates and lifestyles.

We meet again Maya!
I would have a base in London, with home in Cape Town and perhaps Sydney. Probably would spend most of my time in Sydney - so if I had to choose one, that would be it!

I would have to do what you others are doing is money were no object. I would have to Split my time between many places. I would have a home base in my favorite city of Las Vegas, but would like to have a place in Italy as well, I definitely would spend a lot of time traveling and spending a month or so in each place, just to get the feel of those places I have never been.

That sounds an interesting proposition. What is Sydney like to live? I have been there but only for one day! We were in Brisbane and we took a day trip there. My cousins live in Brisbane you see. Australia sounds promising especially for my business.

Hi Pete

Its great living here I must admit but it is very different from the UK. You dont have the history here that you do in the UK - now I was never really into the history at home at all but you soon realise that 'history' equals 'culture' which I think Australia lacks a little.

The laid back lifestyle and the beaches though seem to make up for it somehow

Talking Hi again

Hi,

I would love a house in Rome...

And a apartment on the Gold Coast.

And the house next door to my sister!

I somehow think that the beaches and laid back lifestyle more than make up for the lack of culture. When you have lived in London for 7 years, it does eventually get to you and places like Austalia is what I yearn for!
