Returning to UK

Hi
My friend has in July married a thai woman and is trying to find out how long they have to be married before they can come to live in the UK or apply for a visa. Can anyone help?

She can apply for her marriage (spouse) visa now, but whether she will get one is another matter. Read very carefully the ukvisas site (official Home Office info) on how to obtain and what the requirements are. There is a ream of documents to submit. So your friend and his wife should start now to collect them and put together an application. There are several threads on British Forum about other people's experience of applying for such a visa.
