Talking Best place in the world to live?

Hello everyone, Good Evening. I am new to this site. I have stumbled across it in my research as my husband and I are keen to try something different. We currently live in Scotland and have two little one's (4 and 2 years). We want a better 'life style' for our little family. We want to hear from people regarding where is the best place to live in the world, with respects to having two kids. We are after a country that is family friendly and not so adult focused! Thanks in advance for any suggestions made. x

Definately Mar del Plata, Argentina. They love the children here. You will see kids eating in restaurants and cafes after 12 pm at night. The Argentines perfer to take their children out with them. The beaches are so child friendly. My three teenagers love it here.

True, Spain is more orientated towards family and kids

You can get SKY telivision, but it is illegal to receive

Jobs are scarce, and you will need to speak Spanish to be able to get a lot of jobs, as of course you will be dealing with the Spanish. The average wage in Spain is around €13,000 per annum, and you will have to work from 9 till 2 and again from 5 through till 8 or 9 in the evening.

Every silver lining has a cloud

I won't say the best place to live in the world as it's a big world and until you've lived in all of it you'd be hard pushed to comment, but the place where i feel happiest is in Greece, more specifically Rhodes, the reasons for are endless!

I've been on holiday to many of the greek islands and enjoyed them all .... I think Crete was the most enjoyable, and also Zakynthos

After being in Greece a few years i no longer count Crete as part of Greece,as the people there don't see themselves as Greek!

Zakynthos is a nice island too, very relaxed even by Greek standards, preferred Kefallonia myself,it's more 'greek',i'd recommend it to anyone wanting a getaway.

Rhodes is home though and what a home it is!
