Scotland looks like such a beautiful place for families. I'm from the States and have always wanted to visit your part of the world. I'm interested in the same thing you are...two young children and the perfect place to live. Have you found a place worth relocating to? Just curious...Kristie

I live in Scotland in a small fishing village NR the home of golf St Andrews.
I have happly bought my children up here.(they did have to move for work, uni)But i need more sun so its Cyprus for me soonest.

Welcome to the forum. Although I am British, I have to say that I never got to visit Scotland. It was always cheaper to go abroad (from London).

Does the weather concern you when you think about moving. Scotland can get rather cold. Then again, you might come from the borders of Canada and are used to the cold conditions?

Certainly I would recommend Philippines particularly Cagayan de oro city, dubbed as the city of the golden friendship.

Philippines particularly cagayan de oro city maybe best for you. The people are friendly to foreigners and family oriented. They have good schools, good and cheap medical services. foods and housing are cheap too. Very near the beach and mountain. Cheers!

I agree, Cyprus. The Cypriots love children.

I always believe that a warmer climate it good to a childs mental health production because warmer weather is often times associated with happiness. I am a fan of so many place I couldn't simply choose one. I would say that Australia is lovely along with Greece, Spain, and the list continues on and on!

Why are you moving to London? It's certainly not the place to go for sunshine and warmth
