:Strange sayings ?? Sh** of a shovel etc ??

Was sitting here doing a few emails and bits , with the classic "Peters & lee do led Zeppelin there way" album on , and i had a email asking and i will qoute !!
Having my car for sale i had emails asking about it .
Does the car go like sh** of a shovel ?
And i thought well no it didnt actually it went pretty damn quick, where as my experience of having to shovel sh** was a very slow sticky job to undertake !!!
And the sh** tended to stick to the shovel and was very slow at dropping off ! Indeed on many occasions it required a helping push with a bit of stick that happened to be laying around And the speed it fell of at was only like 1 mph at the most

So who the hell thought of that saying ?

Anyone know why the saying came about or did i just be unlucky enough to have very slow sh** ?

I hope you don't take this the wrong way Pete but you do come across as a bit of an uneducated oaf at times!

I'm sure I am wrong in this opinion but it just strikes me sometimes like you are trying to dumb down what you say.
