Question : Has the UK lost the plot ? : Or am i missing something ?

Just finished reading a very interesting article whereby our Self Appointed ie; un elected Prime Minister has advised he is concerned about creating jobs for the according to him to high Unemployed ! ..
Now this is the same Guy who a few months said how good it was to have all the immigrants coming in as they fill the jobs which we have in abundance ?

Speaking on Global warming he has a master plan to increase taxation (what a suprise ) . This will Force people to use Public Transport so he says LOL Jeeez got to be desperate to stand in the rain and wait for the number 12 only to be sat next to some yobbos shouting abuse etc , assuming you are lucky enough to have a bus that runs from your house to your destination !!

Goes on to say that Terrorism is a Number one priority still , but as its his Party that let them all in !! and gives them UK Passports as well so they can mix better ? Must be the biggest joke of all , NO sorry there is one better ..

The Better One !! And this one just about is the killer of all Piss takes ..

We are all paying a so called Green tax , which scares the people into thinking oh i must pay that as its going to save the Earth !! LOL
Now hows that going to work ? If we gave the Government 125 Billion would they Buy a machine and fix the Ozone ? The tax they put on everything is to keep there arses covered for all the cock ups they make and wastage etc.. All the money just goes into the Pot for them to waste .. And what a brilliant cover story . LOL

I read a Polish immigrant works here in the Uk for a wage of £ 150 a week , very low you think ? But he claims "Child allowance for his 3 kids back in Poland !! " Gets Housing Benefit for his lodgings !! And gets working Tax rebate as well ! all from our Government . And then they wonder why they come here ?

You cant sing Baa Baa Black sheep anymore , its racist ?
If you sang it you would be done for racism ..

Its perfectly acceptable for 2 men to be in Love and want to adopt kids !!
We have Gays rammed in our faces on Tv and newspapers as if its the normal ?
And if you said anything you would be called Homophobic ..

The Uk is now Multi racial ? Now i dont remember being asked if i wanted to be ? But tough thats how it is , you got to move with the times i am told LOL

God knows whats in store for the next 10 years LMAO ..

Couldn't agree more Pete. I began to feel like a stranger in my own country and that is why I moved out here to Goa. Best move ever - apart from the Monsoon which I thought I escaped when I booked a trip back to UK to see family. Rain must have followed me!

Oddball, it frightened the life out of me when I realised how much of Scotland was owned by Arabs - nowt against them but I think that old estates etc should stay within National Trust etc or with at least a born and bred Brit! We truly are giving away our country

Ah, nothing better than a bit of racist rants and anti-immigrant sentiment on a website designed for immigrants................

I would say that the irony was lost on some of you but doubt any of you understand the word!

Hi Hurricane - I am not racist at all, otherwise I wouldnt be living in India. I do not claim anything from this country unlike the immigrants to the UK. In fact I employ people here and contribute to the tax system. The UK is being drained by its own spongers without having to support foreigners too. Regarding property in Scotland - it has indeed been Scots themselves that are selling off their heritage to Arabs, for example, as they can pay astronomical prices for the land - I just find it so sad

Well, at one point many of America's icons were owned by the Japanese - I think they owned Rockefeller Center and the Empire State Building. However, that didn't last.

I doubt it's a tragedy or even sad. It seems to me that people from the UK have bought up a lot of Spain and Bulgaria, so why shouldn't parts of the UK be dominated by foreign ownership? Unless, of course, you really are a racist and it is the fact that they are Arabs that bothers you.

Hi, My first time on this site and YES the UK has lost the plot, I totally agree with all your comments especially about immigration how, what a land of milk and honey we live in (joking).
We are thinking about looking at New Zealand is their anyone trying the same thing at the moment.
We are quite fortunate because we live in a really nice rural location but its still UK and the way things are to be really honest its depressing me.
Patriotic I have always been, but no more we ahve got to get out and fast.

I think Hurricane has an interesting point. Most of you have problems with immigrants to the UK, and your solution is to become immigrants in another country. Has it occurred to any of you that you might not be welcomed with open arms, and might generate the same kind of resentment that you feel? I've heard that you aren't all that beloved in, for instance, Spain.

Hi Amanda, im in NZ been here 3.5 years. Check out my posts on the nz forum and the france (dochertys) thread. If you are still interested after reading them (honest to the point of being brutal but don't let that stop you!) come back to me and I'll tell you what i can.

Re the thread in general, I can understand both points of view. Its hard when the place you grew up in and call 'home' has changed beyond recognition and seems to be more welcoming of others than it is for its own people. But us brits down through history (perhaps other nationalities too but cant speak for them) do seem to think we have the 'right' to go anywhere, taking our old ways with us and foisting them on the new country we choose to live in. Seems like other cultures have learned from us......

If you choose to move abroad, do so with a happy heart and open mind. Do it because you want to be there, not because you want to escape. Join in with the 'natives', learn about your new country and enjoy it for what it is. Perhaps others don't have the same attitude, doesn't mean we can't lead by example.

I think there is a huge difference between the immigrants going to live in the UK and the Brits leaving the UK. When the Brits leave, they have to stand on their own two feet - there are no benefit systems to look after them in their new chosen countries and many countries want to see how much money you have, whether you are professional and they do thorough police checks before they will even consider residency.

I am very lucky, because where we live there is no ex-pat community - they are all in Buenos Aires.
