i recently bought a black wii from dubai and using it in india. Am in US now for a trip and want to buy a wii sport cd. Will the cd i buy from US will work in the wii bought from dubai?

Only if you can find a PAL disc. You'll also need to use either component jacks or HDMI cable to make it work on US tv.

That said, if you have the owners manual it should say PAL or NTSC.

My daughter brought some wii games over from the UK to play in the US....they didn't work.

I have had the same problem with using some games from the US on my Wii from the UK. I don't think it's worth the risk.
