I am a qualified electrician, and have wanted to move to France for a long time, after visiting and owning a holiday home.

Is there a lot of call for expat electricians in France?

Any info would be most helpful thank you

The only real source of "demand" for expat electricians is among the expat community - assuming that they would rather deal with someone in their own language, rather than in French. The French, on the other hand, don't particularly care the nationality or origin of their hired help - as long as they speak reasonable French and have the necessary qualifications to do the job.

One way or another, it's probably more critical that your language skills are up to snuff.
Cheers,
Bev
