Default shipping to France

Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations on the best way to ship items to France from either Canada or the US.

My family and I are renting a furnished apartment in Paris, and are basically bringing what we can carry in our suitcases. However, we would like to ship a few small things like books and winter coats.

Any suggestsions?

Thanks

apaigeg

Depending on how "few" items you're talking about, you may want to check into shipping them by Post. The books will take a while - up to six weeks, in my experience.

Or, if you've got one of those Mailbox stores handy talk to them. Something like Mailboxes Etc or whatever the franchise stores are that handle mailing and package shipment. I wound up using a place like that for shipping two small pieces of furniture and some framed art work from the US to France - on the recommendation of a moving and storage company I was dealing with.
Cheers,
Bev
