Ok - "meet" generally means physically meet in person, rather than virtually meet over the internet, hence the misunderstanding

Just as a friendly suggestion, this may not be the right site for you as this site is where people largely discuss problems and issues associated with moving to France, as opposed to a social site like face book or an educational site. If you are able to, try going to the "user cp and see if you are able to send a a friend request to one of the senior expats here or a message. You may get some takers.

By the way, your English is quite good.
