If you're just coming from the UK, the easiest of all would be to take them with you if you're coming by car.
Cheers,
Bev

husband and i have no car in UK, no need until, perhaps, we goto france. We both got our license though. we were thinking of getting a car in France, a left hand drive car will be interesting, hopefully, we wont be too bad, my husband rented a car when we were out there last, but i was too scared to drive it!

You will find that driving a LHD car here is pretty much the same as driving a RHD car in the uk.

Just beware, beware, beware, ALL the time, that 'priorite a droit' still exists, and is to our minds the most bizarre piece of nonsense that has ever been inflicted on a road-user. However, you MUST be aware of it at all times.

If you're not driving over, how are you intending to get yourselves & all your clobber over ?

If you're going to bring the dogs as "foot passengers", I think you might find all the documentation more complicated for them because they - potentially - will be coming into more contact with people and other animals. Similar applies if you crate them & fly them over. DEFRA can advise.

If a removal company cant help us or i find it expensive, we'll have to look at international car rentals?

Usually on main roads and outside of cities, but in city centres there are often no signs to indicate priority - you just have to know to give way to traffic coming from the right.
