hi, much has already been said, and quite correctly - I obtained our Sky decoder boxes off Ebay for a total of £35 (that included the postage), our daughter in the UK got us the cards for £25 each and posted them onto us - we use one dish with a 4 way LNB, also obtained from ebay, and have had faultless viewing for the last 18 months. There are two sats very close to each other that transmit UK channels, one for free view and the other is SKY, but the free view does not transmit all the mainstream UK channels and only a smattering of what SKY offers - if I remember correctly you can't get channel four.
Finding the sats requires a satellite finder which are pretty cheap and available here in France - oh, and you need a bit of patience whilst aligning the dish.
