Default English builder moving to France

Hi!

My boyfriend is an English builder (construction, renovation, decorating…) and I’m French, we are thinking of moving to France but we would like to know the best areas for him to get some jobs. We believe that we should focus on regions where a lot of English are realocating but we don’t know which one they are!

If you know where to get this information please let me know. You can also give me your personal opinion!!

Thank you very much for your help.

Aurelie

Well aside from the fact that the recession is affecting Brits already in or hoping to go to France, the traditional areas with large concentrations of Brits are parts of Brittany and Normandy, the Dordogne, and the Côte d'Azur. The latter is obviously expensive to set up in, so much depends on your moving budget and accommodation needs.
