Hi All,

Have any of you been able to get together yet? It seems like it's been difficult and I would like to meet some people in the area. I'm still not working, don't really know anyone here and I'm going stir crazy. It might be easier to plan a group get together a few weeks out so that people have time to coordinate. Anyone interested? I think I am the only one who lives this far north, but I'd be willing to make the trip to Biarritz or that area if everyone is interested.

Anyway, hope to meet some or all of you soon.

-Caligirl

Same here, my other half doesn't like to give up the car very easily but think I can convince him! Lunch sounds like a great idea. How about Saturday October 10th? I'm just throwing out dates to see who can make it so other suggetions are fine as well...

Did anyone meet in Biarritz on the 10th Oct-not sure how I missed the note! Strange it did not land in my email notification! I live very near 100 Marches- if anyone is game to meet for lunch in Biarritz, am here and with this weather, happy to! Suggest Bar Jean near Les Halles or any other spot others are happy with-hope all is well and happy to catch up!

Unfortunately I don't think it did. I am a bit stuck at the mo so can't get myself to Biarritz easily... (long story to do with driving licence and usual paperwork waiting time in Bayonne!!) but should be up and running by mid Dec...if you are ever near St Jean then I am very happy to meet up so just give me a shout if you (or anyone else of course!) are in the area! Also my other half's Osteopathy practice is up and running now so - if anyone needs a treatment...you know who to call on!

Thanks Salsa!
Sorry I missed almost meeting you and hopefully will! If you or anyone is in or around Biarritz and wants to meet for a coffee/sangria/wine one day, please let me know-am flex on timing. Am living in Biarritz so most of the time am in the area as working via internet chez nous.

As for the Osteo-just working out a psyatic (sp?) nerve issue leftover from Oz so may be calling sooner rather than later-will see how I go with a week off running-this weather not so great for running anyway!
