Hi all.
I was wondering if any of you know of any translation/interpreting firms in the Perpignan area? I have a degree in French and Spanish and need to find work before we move over in April. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Easiest way to find translation services is to check the pages jaune (PagesJaunes - Accueil) or to do an online search. I have used a translation service that seems to have translators and branches all over France, and apparently they send work out to whoever and wherever the translator lives.

You may also want to look into the qualifications for becoming a translator "assermenté" which is someone who translates and verifies documents. Those seem to be the most in demand and they certainly command the best price. (Though for that I believe you'll have to be resident in France.)
