Default English section at Rouen Public Library

Hi,
I wonder somebody can inform me about the availability of English books (fiction & non-fiction) in Rouen Public library.
Thanks,

Don't know the Rouen library, but I think you'll find in general that public libraries in France have only a limited selection of "foreign language" material. Many expat groups maintain some sort of library or book exchange, especially for children's books for exactly that reason.
Cheers,
Bev

Hi!

Beware rthere are several ( on the ame site )

If you enter : English books , you only get this:

Portail internet des bibliothques de Rouen, la bibliothque municipale sur le web - BM

Since it is unlikely, you will have to phone, send and email or have alook for yourself.

Yours,

giantpanda

Hi
Have your tried the library in the Espace du Palais shopping centre? I found that was where they had the most English books, but still only 2 bookshelves. Hope you are settling in ok in Normandy

Hi Lorene,

Thank you for the information. Yes we will be moving to Rouen from Canada by November 4th week. In Canada, we have access to Public library and my son is very fond of reading books.
Thanks,
Hari
