what is the gross salary to expect in france

I have a job offer in sophia antipolis.I would like to know what is the average gross salary to expect for a 8yrs exp software professional in WLAN.I will be moving in with my wife.Any help on this is appreciated.

It's hard to tell with so few information.

I would say 32-36k, depending on your education / certification, the experience you have and what they want you to do.

However, i would probably not accept anything below 30k.

Do you mean net or gross? 32k gross is a poor salary for 8 year experience .. isn't it?

You have a job offer but don't know how much you are going to get paid??? Sounds strange!

As far as I know, IT people aren't paid a lot in France, compared to many other places.

I think Eldood's estimate of 32 to 36K is the correct one.
