Default Renting in Lyon
Hi,
I’m currently staying in Lyon, and have a few questions, if anyone can help me out, or at least point me in the right direction, I’d be very grateful.

I’d like to rent an apartment (I’m in a holiday rental currently). Can anyone recommend a good letting agent? Is there anything I should be aware of?

I guess I’ll need to open a French bank account, is that easy to do for a British national? I’ve noticed an HSBC and a Barclays in Lyon, will they be easier for me because they’re british banks, or is that me being hopelessly naïve?

Is there any chance at all that I’ll be able to find a job? My French is….passable, I suppose. I am somewhat embarrassed to speak it, because it’s poor, but I can understand pretty well. I have some savings, but I would like to earn some money if I can.
