help needed with error message

I am subscribed to a thread and wanted to answer a question. I hit the "reply" button, typed in my answer, and hit "submit". I got the following error message no matter what I tried to do. I WAS logged in. Does anyone know what is going on and how I can correct it? I was only trying to reply to a question in the same thread and didn't attach anything to the simple reply, not even a smiley face. What in the world could cause the site to think I was trying to post something to a different site?

"You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you become an Active Member and have made 4 posts or more."

I believe it's telling you that you aren't allowed to post URLs referencing other websites until you've been a member for a longer time.

Yes, I know that. The problem is that I'm NOT trying to access/go to/refer to/have anything at all to do with any other website. I'm just trying to reply to the same thread with a simply message. Susan

One more try: The Expat Forum website is telling you that you're attempting to insert a URL in your message or something it interprets as a URL before it's willing to allow you to do that.

It may have been that the quote in the original message had a URL in it - but now you should be OK as you have 5 posts
