The process for registering your guns is detailed here (in French): Déclaration d'une arme de 5ème et 7ème catégories - Service-public.fr

Basically, you register your weapons at your local commissariat de police or the gendarmerie (if you didn't buy them in France - where they would be registered through the vendor). You have to provide identification and either a current hunting license, or proof of membership in an appropriate sporting club (i.e. a shooting club).
Cheers,
Bev

Not something I'm into. But ask at the local mairie. Most clubs and associations have some contact with the mairie, if they aren't sponsored by them.
Cheers,
Bev

Hi!

Here the French law.

Moteur de recherche service-public.fr : résultats de la recherche

NB. You would need an authorisation to import, and would have to declare.

Yours,

giantpanda
