Hmmm, THAT'S beautiful in Thailand? I'd be doing some serious running from any of those "beauties". I've seen some "ladyboys" in Chiang Mai and Bangkok that DID look like the real McCoy but these aren't even in the same zip code.

You may be right but I can't see someone carrying a long thin 'handle' with a blade and I can't imagine why he would carry it except, perhaps, to use to fend off aggressive dogs. Or expats! Maybe pesky expat photographers?
