Hi and welcome to the forum.

What sort of job are you looking for? And how's your Romanian? Job hunting just about anywhere takes some considerable time - and unless you have the local language, you may be in for a long, difficult search.

Any chance you could get hired on at the school where your b/friend is working?

You might also try the EURES pages EUROPA - EURES - Living & Working

EURES is a job mobility site sponsored by the EU. It has some information on working conditions in English and there is a site for posting your CV. At least this might put you in touch with employers interested in hiring someone from outside Romania.
Cheers,
Bev

Hi Louise,

Do you by any chance speak two languages? I tutor kids in person (which I love), but I've recently come across an online option that I might look into using as well. At least one company has set up language tutoring via Skype, so students and tutors literally around the world can connect. The company I first found is called Verbal Planet (verbalplanet dot com) but google searches bring up a few other companies too. Anyways, just a thought!

Hi,

it can be very difficult to find jobs in a foreign country. First of all though make sure you are fulfilling all the legal requirements and have all the right permits to work there. Then it should be quite easy to go to some kind of Recruitment Agency.
