Default Is there any chance to get the information of unlisted phone numbers?

Hi! I am John, currently working in an international call centre. I had a query for my job work. Actually I want the information of unlisted phone numbers for promoting the website of my company so that each and every listed and unlisted person could be able to enjoy the facility of asking their IT related problems and could definitely get their answers. It will be something like an open chat. So if someone knows any kind of source to retrieve the information of unlisted phone numbers please let me know.
Thanks in advance!!!

Hi John,

What does this have to do with moving country? Have I missed something?

Regards,
Karen

John, people pay extra to have their phone numbers unlisted because they don't want to receive calls promoting the website of your company - or of any other company for that matter.

I only wish that France had the same sort of "do not call" list that they have in the US. If you call someone whose number is on that list, you're subject to a big fine.

You might want to find another way to promote your website, using legitimate (and probably paid-for) advertising.
Cheers,
Bev

a very good method of stopping telemarketers back is to do the following:
when they call say "hey can you just hang on a moment i need to get something, just put the phone down and leave it there, they will figure it out after a minute.

Yes thats what i do ,
another good one i use is i say hang on i will get my dad , then wait a few minutes and say " he said what do you want?" then say "Ok i will tell him " wait another 5 minutes , if they still there say "he said give him a minute he got to wash his hands as he just got in from work " and leave them to wait ,
stretches it out more

I believe that in the US it is illegal for the phone company to get unlisted numbers and illegal for anyone to obtain or try to obtain them.

You can always get a loud whistle and blow into it.

Oh, don't get me started now on "playing with telemarketers" --- I've honed this into an art form over the years, and there is SO much to work with when you're obviously not a native speaker of the local language.

Sometimes just telling them you don't understand what they're saying because they are talking too fast (and mumbling) and insisting that they speak m-o-r-e s-l-o-w-l-y... Make them repeat everything 4 or 5 times (or more, depending on your mood). Pick individual words and ask them to explain.

Or find a "creative" reason linked to their product to end the call. Double glazing? I don't own the house, it's not my decision. Sleazy tax dodge investment schemes? - we don't pay any taxes as it is - but can they get us money back? And my favorite - when they call our company offering "collection services" for our slow paying customers, I just ask them if they break knees. We only have one customer who is really bad about paying his debts, and I know he'd improve if we just sent a big guy named Guido over to break his knees one time... I think that guy hung up on me.

Life is too short not to have fun!
Cheers,
Bev

Just tell them you've got a new phone contract, a new kitchen, new double glazing, a new whatever...................
