Personally I am not sure how much of the voting is political and how much is just affected by musical taste. When it comes down to it, there are far more Eastern European countries than Western in the competition now and they just like different music.

Lets say it as it is , nobody likes the UK we are just a laughing stock of the rest of the world only useful for leaching off

You wait and see when the UK is bankcrupt which will be by about 2011 then we shall see what help comes flooding in ,

Actually there was one singing for Ireland this year but it got knocked out in the semi's. Nothing would have given me more pleasure than to see a Turkey win Eurovision
