Default Forum keeping up

It would appear the forum and later posts are 'Marching ' out of step , would this be easy to attend to or would it keep some-one up at night , i am curious , but happen to be living in the opposite side of the world to many , on a limited internet availability , which is classified as unlimited anyway .

Hi Colin,

What do you mean by marching out of step? I tend to check the new posts when I visit the forum and haven't noticed an issue. That doesn't mean that there isn't one, just that I haven't noticed it

Regards,
Karen

Hi Karen(same name as my eldest daughter), when i log on to the forum then scroll down to find a new post , i click on the post but the post does not come up . I then click on the appropriate country , click on the post , but it does not bring up the new post . I have done this several times with the same results , i feel any advise is better than no advise . Colin

This forum is still not co-ordinated,the threads and latest post are out of synch, the latest unread post is often not on the thread,i have gone back to check a few times in the last 2 hours and the latest post is still not available to read .Somewhat frustrating when one is trying to update on a question . Colin .

Hi Colin,

How do you know the thread has been updated?
Did you receive an email?

I've had a couple of occasions where I've received an email saying that a thread has been updated but when I go to the thread the post didn't show. The post had actually been deleted because it was someone spamming the website.

Just wondering if that could be the case here since we've had quite a bit of spam to delete over the last few days.

Regards,
Karen

I happen to not get forum updates , but what is posted as a new post does not appear on that particular forums listings , they are definately not spams . Colin .

all posted as 'new posts ' but presence most noticeable by absence ????

I recently updated my vision enhancement with new spectacles , methinks perchance they changed the perception of my grey matter to suit the country of origin, oh yeah , oh yeah , 8 bells and alls well .Or i realy am an ODDBALL after all , who knows ?

oddball, beware your internet provider over cache-ing pages. Some do it as a matter of policy to make their service appear faster than it is. Regularly clear cookies and delete all offline content with your browser controls to reduce the risk of getting cached pages instead of true latest.
