Hi Maeve,

Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce the problem, and I don't think Strav has either.

How are you being notified of a new post?
Do you see it in the new post list or get an email?
If you get a link in an email can you post it on here so that we can check that way...

Regards,
Karen

This does happen to me all the time. I read all the posts and then the section is still showing as live posts, so I have to go to forum tools and mark all the posts as read to get rid of them

But I can see a new post after your post (which is why I assume you received the email saying that there is another post).

The only thing that has started happening to me is that posts I've updated are still showing as new posts to me. I tend to check the Aussie forum first and reply to any questions there, and then click on new posts. Posts that I've replied to are still showing as unread whereas before they would have been read. I will raise this with the forum owner in case anything has been changed.

Regards,
Karen

I get all the new post emails for any posts that have been made after mine in a thread. The only time I've been in to the link and found that there wasn't a new post is when that post has been deleted (either by the user or by a moderator).
Not sure if that's what could have happened to you.

Oddball's issue is different since he's not getting the email updates.

Regards,
Karen
