Default Is Cyprus usually Humid

Hi all

Can someone tell me if Cyprus usually gets humid? I was in Limassol and found the humidity to be extreme and wonder if there are places in Cyprus that aren't as bad. I know the mountains are fresher, but was really looking for somwhere to live around Limassol? and what about Nicosia?

Any replies would be appreciated

Nicosia is less humid than Limassol as it is inland but it gets very very hot there.
Paphos is not quite as humid as we get a nice breeze from the West but it can still be fairly humid in August and September.
I dont know what the East coast is like for humidity.

Its not normally that humid over the Larnaca side of the island. We were discussing humidity with neighbours the other day and we all agreed summer was pleasantly less humid than we had all expected.

However, it has to be said that it has been quite humid for the last week or so but then, if he BBC is to be believed we can expect storms this coming week. Plus, we have been seeing the Cyprus seagulls that are supposedly the precurser of bad weather for the last couple of days. Last time we saw them there were storms within days!

It all depends on your tolerance level. I would have to say it is very humid. There are some villages in Paphos such as Armou where you can look down over all of Paphos and you can see the cloud of humidty engulfing the entire area. It is a bit less humid there but some months there seems there is no escape.
