I think AFGHANISTAN is the most BORING country
Really???? I think you're taking the Michael!! I've been in Afghanistan for 7 months, can't say there has EVER been a boring moment...life here is a blast...sadly, literally

On the upside, the social scene in Kabul City is excellent...probably one of the best cities in the world I've EVER been in!!! I wouldn't live anywhere else right now...

Most boring country? Been to many, not been bored of any yet....too much to see, do and experience.

I think every country will have something interesting for everyone - even just one small aspect of it so I don't think any country can be catergorized as boring. The US, Australia, Canada etc. are so big there are the exciting busy cities but there are also the small, quiet towns that are not so lively or dull depending on what you like and where you find your enjoyment. It is what you make it though! Enjoy simple pleasures and you'll be fine anywhere ;-)

"Ireland is so boring and miserable ! That's why they are all alcos and rat
arsed 24/7. Things tend to look better, at least for a while when looking at them through the bottom of a pint glass.

NORWAY hands down the global winner for boring, I lived and worked there twice including just now for a stretch. Everything is either illegal, taxed to death, politically correct to lunacy, overpriced out of the market, stopped by the cold, rain, snow or lack of sunlight, slow service, unemotional people, speed limits so low you want to fall asleep while driving, a good percentage of people who grew up in such isolation they can't communicate with others, so much social security that the place is infested with drunk or drugged or both drop outs with huge dogs. It does have very nice scenery but it keeps disappearing in the rain. My pals asked me and my Thai wife what we had done in Norway and we couldn't think of anything except we watched a lot of TV. As an example tax is 50% on a good income and two beers, two glasses of wine, a burger and fries and a spare rib and fries is 85 UK pounds. So even a millionaire wouldn't enjoy that too often. Even the Norwegians think Norway is boring.

Hi Martharon,

I am irish and I lived and worked there for 50 years and come from Dublin. One of the biggest problems in my opinion, is the irish attitude to drink and the completely out of control drink culture and the way that everyone tolerates it and make excuses for all of the dysfunction and harm that it still causes and has caused there for generations.

I am not anti drink by the way lol but everything simply revolves around alcohol there. There is also something seriously wrong in irish society and this can plainly be seen on the streets and by the huge numbers of layabouts, who can be seen lying about in doorways literally everywhere (Dublin)
is the pits for this. These people are out of their minds on drink and drugs and are allowed to beg, intimidate and harass everyone.

So many areas are unsafe there and I just find the whole athmosphere one of hostility and threat basically. The irish have in the main, lost all respect for themselves and for others. The whole place and everything in it is run on a corrupt system of cronyism, cliques, golden circles and hand picked lackeys and basically they will all do absolutely nothing to help you, unless there is something in it for them. A heavy air of no hope and doom and gloom is everywhere. I was delighted to leave, just sorry that it took me 50 years to break out of the asylum.

hi Mr.Blueskies

thank you for giving me a detailed explanation. i did not know the details as i have not been there so i asked the reason so that i can get a clear picture of it. if you mean corruption it is common in all places. the situation has changed everywhere.
