I like it, green is a more relaxing colour! When it first happened I thought I was in the wrong place!

Its awful.

Why change what didnt need changing?

Why does everything in life have to suddenly have 'greenie credentials'? - leave such trivia to the chatterers and get on with living.

Hiya,
Thanks for the comment. The design did need to be changed as we are trying to convert more viewers to become members. Our biggest test will be to see if conversion rates improve. If they don't then we will need to have another look.
Regards
Bob

[Dont get me wrong, Im not rubbishing the hard work that goes into web-design; Im just an end user....

However, apply the old adage that 90% of all advertising is wasted, how can you draw a parallel between a revamp and ANY variation in membership, up or down? Its like saying 'more people will buy this car in red than blue...' ie you just dont know.

One of my pet hates is change for the sake of change. More folk will stick with what they know than will be attracted to something new - why? - Because when they arrive, they never knew what the 'old ' version looked like, so they can't compare.
