Default Sharm Recommendations

These are a few local and professional services that I have either used or have personal experience of and can highly recommend:

Medical...
Sinai Clinic
Located in Banks Street, Hadaba
They have the full range of medical professionals working there, all very competent and the establishment itself is very clean, modern and hygienic.

Sharm Dental Clinic
They have two branches, one in Naama Bay and one in Nabq Bay. Whilst it is known as the most expensive dentistry in Sharm, you get what you pay for.

South Sinai Hospital
Located in Old Market, beside Metro supermarket
The newest hospital in Sharm el Sheikh. The reception area in more like a hotel, the staff are professional and precise. All speak good English. There is also a pharmacy on site and lab so you won't be sent away for blood tests, or have to argue with the locals to get the right price at another pharmacy.

For eye tests Omar & Omar pharmacy have this facility.

Real Estate...
Sharm El Sheikh Real Estate - Your trusted property agent in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt:
Offices in Nabq Bay, Naama Bay & Hadaba
This is the largest real estate company in Sharm and have a good range of properties to offer. They have a large multinational team to handle many different languages, they provide a great service including after-sales service, which many companies lack.

Lawyer...
Edgebridge Law Firm : Egyptian Lawyers : Practice Areas
Office in Nabq Bay (also another office in Hurghada)
Zeiad Yehia, the owner and managing director of EdgeBridge Law Firm has extensive experience in Real Estate and property law, whilst also having success in the civil and criminal cases that are presented to him. His English language is perfect, but mostly importantly he is knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Schools...
My daughter attends Hello Baby nursery. For me it is perfect as it's 700 LE per month, open 7 days per week from 8am-7pm and she can attend as much or as little of this as needed. For others it may not do so well since the staff speak Arabic. I do not have experience of another child care facility.
Schools I also do not have personal experience, but will list these best three:
Saint Joseph International School - Welcome
Welcome to SHARM EL SHEIKH COLLEGE

Dr Maurice Fahmy MBBCH LRCP MRCS DRCOG MRCGP is an experienced Anglo-Egyptian physician, who spent 30 years of his career as a senior General Practitioner, Medical Educator and Researcher in the UK
From September he will start offering UK style
General Practice consultations, based at the new
South Sinai Hospital, adjacent to Metro, Kennedy Mall.
Consultations at the Hospital are by appointment.

I have used Dr. Reham for the last couple of years. She is a paediatrician, used to work in Sinai Clinic but gone independently now, her office is in Il Mercato.

South Sinai hospital in general I would recommend for general emergencies. It is clean, modern, well equipped, nice staff and actually feels more like a hotel from the reception area!
orlandofuorioso and Bob2 like this.
