Bansky in Dubai

Hi there,

Even if i am not a Art freak or expert, i believe Dubai is more than just Bars, Clubs & Brunch and since i appreciate good art just went to see Bansky exposition here in Dubai and i recommend it for the lovers...some of you heard abt the polemical grafiti artist and now we can have access to his work here.. believe most of the Brits will know who he is...

Place not easy to find (Al Quoz Ind area) but worten to check.

Banksy is massive in his home city of Bristol (Where I am from). It's good to see that he is exhibiting his art around the globe. There are many websites where you can purchase cheap Banksy images. They are great for decoration around the home.

Art galery name is Traffic.. not easy to find since its on industrial area stuck in btw 2 warehouses but you will see a small TRAFFIC logo.
Add:
Traffic
179 Umm Suqeim Rd

When you out from SZR, do a U-turn on the 3rd traffic light, then lock for it on right side..

Traffic is easy to find - look for the pole with a lot of yellow construction helmets posted to it. On umm sequim road (as stated below).

Was a big art event in DIFC last night and been to a few in Al Quoz before, couple of things noticed.

1 - The amount of posing and preening on show makes the Cavalli club seem like Fibbers. I particularly like the groups of girls that stand, having a conversation right in front of large or popular pieces.

2 - A lot of the work in exhibition here in Dubai is below par under-graduate stuff. A lot of it. There are some gems that make your evening out worthwhile but for the most part it's like viewing an end of year show at your local uni.

Didn't know about the above show though so cheers for posting.
