Default Exchange rates

As an expat in Dubai being paid in AED & with the euro been so bad does anybody know bank or bank account which can hold multiple currencies, please bear in mind min balance & cost of this account, (the lower the better)

I hate recommended them, but HSBC allows this. The fees are minimal. (keeping in mind that you should have at least a "Status" or "Premier" account).

As long as you don't have to deal with their people, HSBC has some decent components to its banking. I'm sure they will find a way to screw that up too.

I have AED, USD and GBP accounts with HSBC and they are fairly easy to deal with online. They also do Euro accounts. All but the AED account are based in Jersey. Problems only start if you have to deal with one of the many morons they employ here in the UAE. The Jersey folk are OK.

I've heard better things about Lloyds TSB who offer the same accounts.
