Default Gold and Electronic Prices

Hey,

I am going to be n Dubai in 2 days time, i am looking at buying some Gold and electronics( Ipod Dock, LED tv, Home Theatre). Can anyone recommend me the places to find the cheapest and best quality shops?

Also i believe the Dubai gold price is cheaper compared to say the rest of the world....anyone has any idea what the difference could be in prices and where can i buy PURE quality gold.

Thankx

Cheers

Electronics - go to Mall of Emirates (or any of the other bigger malls) - you have Carrefour, Jumbo etc. under one roof.
Gold - cheaper than India I think. A number of people buy from Damas or other similar chains whose names I don't remember off hand (a no. of stores all over Dubai, but in the malls they only have the more expensive pieces). Try going to the older parts of Dubai for that
