Default Bit more info on company...

Hello,

New poster...please bare with me!
I have been glued to these forums the past 2 days as I am currently awaiting a formal offer, and I was not expecting it...so many questions...and so many answers on here!!

I am a 24 year old male from UK and wil be coming over with fiance.

The company I am very excited to join is Hyder consulting. Any 1 got any knowledge of working with/for them?

Not able to talk number syet as there is no formal offer.

Thanks in advance

Hi Day1859,

I know Hyder Consulting but only in the UK. Dealt with them a number of times and always found them a very professional outfit. I don't think their UAE offices would be any different.

Good Luck!

If you haven't done so already, you might search the forums on previous discussions about bringing non-marital partners over and living w/ them. Does your new employer know your fiance is coming?

Thanks for the advice. Yes I have informed them of my current situation. We have been engaged for about two years, and are condidering getting maried before we went over to Dubai. Is there any timeframe before they are recognised as your wife (I know it sounds a stupid question!!) e.g must be married 1 year??

Thanks in advance

Dave

I'm in practically the same situation. We're getting married two weeks before we go over (may 17!)

Am happy to help with any questions you have about moving there
